His 2006 book on the subject,\u00a0<em>Everyware<\/em>, has been acclaimed as \u201cgroundbreaking,\u201d \u201celegant,\u201d and \u201csoulful\u201d by Bruce Sterling, and \u201cgracefully written, fascinating, and deeply wise\u201d by\u00a0<em>Wired<\/em>\u2019s Steve Silberman. His book\u00a0<em>The City Is Here For You To Use<\/em> (Do Projects, forthcoming) explores the impact of these technologies on urban form and metropolitan experience.\u00a0Previously a rock critic, San Francisco bike messenger, PSYOP sergeant, and head of the information architecture department for the Tokyo office of the notorious early Internet consultancy Razorfish, Greenfield most recently co-taught the &#8220;Urban Computing&#8221; course at New York University&#8217;s Interactive Telecommunications Program with Kevin Slavin.\u00a0He currently lives and works in Helsinki, Finland, and blogs at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/speedbird.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">speedbird.wordpress.com<\/a>.
