As part of b.TWEEN08<\/a>\u00a0in Manchester, Proboscis is facilitating a StoryCubes<\/a> ‘landscape of ideas’ to help Just b. Productions<\/a> and the Manchester Beacon Project<\/a> define the brief for a new commission to create\u00a0an online public engagement service\u00a0that maps connections between people, places, knowledge and creative activity in Manchester. Starting with an initial day-long workshop to scope out the wider issues, aspirations and challenges for the design brief, a series of questions are being posed to the delegates of b.TWEEN to add their comments ideas and suggestions to:<\/p>\n

\n\u00a0\u2013 What makes engagement tools sustainable?
\n\u00a0\u2013 What themes would inspire people to connect using engagement tools?
\n\u00a0\u2013 What opportunities should engagement tools offer their participants?
\n\u00a0\u2013 What shouldn\u2019t engagement tools be or do?
\n\u00a0\u2013 What are reasonable and achievable expectations for engagement tools?
\n\u00a0\u2013 What local communities should benefit most from engagement tools?
\n\u00a0\u2013 What kinds of links to the physical world should engagement tools have?\u00a0<\/p>\n
